This page allows you to manage your Tenancies.
On this page you can:

As an example, if you have 5 properties rented to 5 different tenants, you will have to create 5 properties, 5 tenants and 5 tenancies.
For each tenancy, rents and receipts are generated automatically every 1st of the month (unless you change this setting, e.g. if you choose the date of payment to the 15th of the month, the receipts will be generated and dated from the 15th to the 14th of the following month).
When the tenancy ends and you do not rent the property you can Disactivate and Archive the tenancy. This way the system will stop the automatic generation of the rents in Finance, however you will still see the history of revenues and expenses related to the tenancy. To reactivate the tenancy please click Active/Inactive tag.
To Delete a tenancy click on the Delete action. A confirmation dialog will appear with the option to keep the financial data. Check the box if you want to keep this information, otherwise, it will be deleted.
We do not recommend deleting tenancies, as if you do so financial data will be permanently deleted. It is better to archive them and keep the data. You never know, you may need it…
